How to Use Tiny CSS Generator

Welcome to the land of simple styling! This is a minimalist CSS generator made for people who want clean code, not a bloated page builder. It won’t give you box shadows with ten layers of fallbacks – it gives you code that works.

Getting Started

At the top, you’ll find a few ready-made color schemes like Light or Dark. You can switch between them instantly. If anything goes wrong, just click Light to reset the styles to default. It’s like ctrl+z, but emotionally soothing.

What Each Section Does

  • Background – Sets the global body background color. That’s it. Clean and simple.
  • Text – Sets global body font color and family. There’s no per-element targeting, no font pickers, no shadows. Just the base.
  • Links – Edits the appearance of all <a> tags. Includes normal and hover states.
  • Forms – Styles only the <form> tag itself. If you're expecting magic inside it, try the next tabs.
  • Textareas & Inputs – Controls borders, padding, radius, and focus states for <input> and <textarea>. No fancy validation styles or JS – just CSS basics.
  • Buttons – Affects both <button> and <input type="submit">. Hover and active states are included. These are your clicky elements.
  • Sections – Controls visual layout elements like headings and section containers. Think spacing, background, borders – though keep in mind: there's currently no padding or margin configuration for custom classes.
  • Preview – A sample layout where all your settings are applied in real-time.

What You Can’t Do (Yet)

This is a small, focused tool. It doesn’t (currently) include options for:

  • padding or margin on containers or text blocks
  • text-shadow or box shadows
  • Responsive breakpoints or media queries
  • Importing or managing multiple themes

Live Preview & Download

Every change you make updates the preview immediately. You can see what your CSS does in real time, no saving required. When you’re ready, hit “Download File!” to save your style.css.

No Storage, No Logs

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is saved, stored, or transmitted. If you close the tab without downloading, your work is gone – by design.
